If you’re into the co-op games like us, you should have heard of Magicka by now. If you haven’t, it’s okay; we’re here to help.
First of all, the new trailer. This will give you some idea about the game development atmosphere and direction. Well, it doesn’t show us the in-depth gameplay, but we always welcome dark comedy.
This great action-adventure game based on Norse mythology will be available in Q1 2010. Check out the new Magicka website for more information.

Weird.
We try our best to keep our antennas out, searching for games that deserve the attention to us gamers. And so far, we haven’t missed much. But we still don’t know how we missed Magicka, which seems like a very cool looking game, with a 4 player co-op mode.
Seriously, the last thing the world needs is another war game or a gangsta-wannabe character running around in a so-called sandbox world. We can really use games like Majesty 2, Torchlight and ZEN Pinball for PSN; not too complicated, but with enough substance for hardcore gamers. Let’s take a look at the video of Magicka.
So they might not have the craziest physics engine to push your hardware limit and force you to play games in 30 fps in medium texture settings, but it looks interesting enough. If you’re into wizards and fantasy, and don’t mind the action adventure genre, it’d be hard for you to hate the game, right?
Now we didn’t really have a chance to try out the game, but from the screenshots and videos, so far so good. If they can present us a great story, maybe with a little bit of witty dialogue, this game might be worth your time.
The game will be released in North America between Q2 and Q3 of 2010, and will be released for PC and major gaming consoles.
