At first look though, we weren’t sure about the game. But as we witness more trailers and screenshots, we’re getting the idea that Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West is like a Team Fortress style multiplayer online game with a Wild West twist.

Wild West is always an interesting theme. At least once we dream about living at the most violent yet sexy era of American history. Well, we’re not sure about sexy in this game, but it sure will be violent; Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West.

We don’t know how good the level design will be until we try them out, but those characters look amazing. And gaming mode such as Conquest, Greed, Powder keg, Robbery and Shootout just screams Wild West.

Here’s the feature list:

• Four playable characters with a multitude of strengths and weaknesses.
• A multitude of different game modes and settings, all with a distinct feeling of the Old West.
• Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West will reward players that play as a team through the incorporation of the Synergy system.
• Game modes and mechanics are designed to be easy-to-understand with a minimum of prerequisites.

Though we don’t know the exact date, they hinted us it’ll be available for consoles in Q2 2010.

The last good Wild West FPS that I’ve played was Outlaw, made back in 1997. Yeah, I’m that old to even remember such game.

Many years later, looks like I’m finally going to be able to play another Wild West FPS game; Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West.

Not bad. Not bad at all.

It’s still a bit early to tell anything about the game, since they haven’t choose which platform to publish the game. All we know so far is that the game will be released in 2010. We’ll let you know once more information flows in.
