Now you can experience the old-school style of single console multiplaying with your iPhone with Battle Blasters.
The game is very simple: shoot the other guy and don’t get shot. Battle Blasters is a one-on-one shooter/fighting game. Like most fighting games, the fun and variety comes in the unique characters rather than the story or the progressive element of the game. With a roster of six characters, each with a unique set of fighting styles, abilities, and special weapons, battle blaster looks to deliver some fun old-school gaming.
The coolest feature, at least for me, is the same console multiplayer. Online multiplaying is defintiely sweet. But it just doesn’t have the same feel of comraderie that getting together with your friends over one console did, back in the day. (of course, LAN parties bring the best of both worlds together). And another pretty cool feature, for all you social networking butterflies, are the leaderboards available on facebook, allowing you to brag your battle blasting skills to an even bigger audience!
