Use your voice to summon monsters in Voice Fantasy for iPhone/iPod Touch

Square Enix brings an interesting game to the iPhone/iPod Touch: Voice Fantasy.

The basics of the game is a RPG-style battler, where the player summons characters to battle for them, much like Pokemon, or Digimon. The catch is, you summon your character using the voice record function. Depending on the volume and pitch of the recorded voice, different characters with different jobs, abilities and personalities are summoned. Furthermore, the voice recordings you use can also be converted into a character voice and used during battle.

The game has three modes: “Single Match”, “Tag Match”, and “Demon King”. “Single Match” and “Tag Match” are one-on-one or two-on-two battles, respectively. “Demon King” allows the player to battle against monsters.

And apparently, characters from some of Square Enix’s classic titles will be making cameo appearances.

Voice Fantasy is available starting today.
