Final Fantasy XIV Open Beta Test on Sept. 2nd

The Beta Test originally scheduled to start on the 31st of August has now been postponed and will begin at 2:00 (GMT) on September 2nd, 2010. You can get more details and enter at the Final Fantasy XIV Open Beta Test Application Site.

    Yeah, the beta has started and this time I’ve been one of the lucky gamers who has been chosen to try the game. All I can say is I love the new look and story play.

In critically panned crime caper Driv3r, there was a Hawaiian shirt-wearing character called Timmy Vermicelli - a clear parody of the star of GTA: Vice City, Tommy Vercetti. The character wore swimming bands, poking fun at the GTA hero's inability to swim.
