Steam and Source engine coming to Mac

Posted on 08 March 2010 by ClassicMoments

Valve today announced that they will now support Apple’s computer hardware, Mac.
That’s right. Even Mac gets Source engine while PS3 gets none.

Still good news to some gamers out there who doesn’t have PC or Xbox360 but have a Mac hardware. Honestly we doubt the gamers wouldn’t have neither of platform but at least now Steam is more reachable. Does it mean that Steam will support Apple’s mobile devices such as iPhone / iPod touch or iPad? No official words but we think they’ll be too smart not to support those devices.

At least from now on, many games will be available to Mac users. And Portal 2 will be one of them; it’ll be Valve’s first simultaneous launch title for PC, Mac and Xbox360.

Valve pushing Source engine support to Mac also means the developers out there can be involved.

Now, only if Valve can have interest in PS3..
