If you’re a gamer in 20s or older, we won’t even have to explain to you how this game will turn out.

Well actually, if you weren’t a turn-based RPG fan, then this might seems a bit too fresh for you.

Behold; Breath of Death VII: The Beginning is coming to Xbox LIVE Indie Arcade for 80 MS Points which translate to about $1.

  • Fast turn-based combat!
  • Retro visuals reminiscent of the best of 8-bit & 16-bit RPGs displayed in glorious 720p!
  • World map filled with several dungeons & locations to explore!
  • Deep yet easy to understand branching LV-Up system
  • Special multi-character techniques & a combo count system add strategic depth to combat!

And if the screenshots are not enough, we’ve got a video for you.

As we said, the visuals look like 8-bit era turn-based RPG, but they say it’s 16-bit. Who knows? Maybe the music sounds like 16-bit?

The game is available for Xbox360 exclusively so far, in Xbox LIVE Indie Arcade. It’ll be available in April of 2010.
