Halo: Reach – latest screenshots and information

Posted on 12 February 2010 by ClassicMoments

We’ve got some news.
Fresh news for Halo: Reach.

Well, if you’re one of typical North American gamer who loves Xbox360, then you might already know some of the stories that we’ll about to tell you, but not all of us are Halo fanatics (zOMG), so we’ll break it down to you.

First, the screenshots, of course.

And the features list:

  • Meet Noble Team. For the first time, players will fight alongside a squad of iconic Spartan soldiers, each with deadly talents as unique as their individual personalities and customized gear.
  • An intense campaign. Live the events that set the stage for the “Halo” trilogy as the UNSC and Covenant clash at the height of their military power. New weapons and abilities complement the familiar “Halo” arsenal for the largest-scale battles ever witnessed in the “Halo” universe. Fiercely cunning artificial intelligence (AI) adds depth and complexity to each encounter, helping make every play-through a unique and epic experience.
  • Stunning technical advancements. “Halo: Reach” takes a massive leap forward through all-new engine technology designed to take full advantage of next-generation graphics, audio, special effects, AI and animation while continuing to expand on the campaign, cooperative and multiplayer sandbox in a way that only “Halo” can.
  • The definitive multiplayer experience. “Halo: Reach” builds on the success of its predecessors, setting a new standard for competitive gameplay, customization, variety and community integration.
  • Unparalleled feature suite. “Halo: Reach” expands on the industry-leading suite of features found in “Halo 3,” including four-player cooperative campaign play, split-screen support, saved films, screenshots and exciting new surprises that have yet to be revealed.

Everyone knows that Halo will sell so Microsoft, of course, is planning to release four different hardware to “celebrate” the release. In others, Microsoft is telling Halo fanatics to buy those hardware or each second the kitties will suffer ’til slow death. We just made it up the kitties part(We can’t afford the lawsuit from Microsoft; no one can!).

The four hardware are:

  1. Xbox 360 “Halo Reach” Special Edition Console – no exact numbers for the price yet. But might be a good idea to purchase one since your current Xbox360 will break down anyways.
  2. Halo Reach Xbox 360 Wireless Controllers – at least Microsoft builds a one badass controllers. As our editors were once testers for video game industry, we know how well built those controllers are. We’ve seen some pretty disgusting and harsh abusement to the controllers; believe us.
  3. Limited Edition Halo Reach Xbox 360 Wireless Headset – limited edition means you better get it to satisfy your ego. That’s right. You know you want ‘em.
  4. Zune “Halo Reach” Edition – Now THIS is interesting. From one of our CES 2010 article, we know that Zune software will support pretty much every Microsoft-made hardware out there, so if you somehow hate Apple products or loves Microsoft for some reason, this hardware you make you look geeky. Not in a Veronica Belmont kind of cool and sexy geeky way, but a weird, smelly fat ones that you rarely spot in real life. Yes, they do exist.

Looks like all of software and hardware will be released in fall (that’s Autumn for you British English speakers) of 2010, exclusively on Xbox360.
