Augmented Reality Game System Flaw Launched

Enjoy Gaming brings you System Flaw, the first augmented reality game to be released. So what does  that mean? I’m not quite sure myself, but the game definitely sounds interesting.

Your mission as the player is to hunt down alien invaders called the Flaw, who are only visible through the DSi. systemflaw_screen_2_jpgSimilar in a way to GhostWire, this game integrates the game play field into the real-world environment that the player is in. Using the radar tracker screen, players will be going in and out of rooms, spinning and turning around corners, and even running outside in pursuit of the Flaw. Sounds very, very interesting.

Paul Tresise, managing director of Enjoy Gaming says “With 360 degrees of optical flow and motion technology not yet utilized in handheld gaming, System Flaw is a revolutionary gaming experience and a great first product for Enjoy Gaming.”systemflaw_screen_3_jpg

Fun Game Facts

Ico was originally meant to be released for the PlayStation, but the development was halted and then continued for the PlayStation 2. In the early version, Yorda had horns on her head, not Ico. You can find early concept footage of this on YouTube.
