Auditorium to go Multi-platform with Zoo Games

Zoo Games just signed a multi-platform publishing deal with indie developer Cipher Prime for their award-winning innovative title Auditorium. Auditorium first came into public eye when Dain Saint and William Stallwood won the first 2BeeGames.com Indie Game Competition in July.

And now a little bit about the game. As it advertises, Auditorium is all about the visual and aural experience. There aren’t really any instructions on how to play, so you have to figure it out. But not to worry. The pictures and signs of the actual pieces you play with are pretty intuitive and easy to figure out.

The basic goal of the game is to fill up containers with “the Flow,” a constant stream of moving particles of light and sound. You can manipulate the Flow by using various devices called controls. Some controls bend the flow while others attract and repel the flow. By filling up the container using these controls, light turns to sound, and soon, you have yourself a visual-aural symphony.auditorium2

I’d imagine that sounds kinda wierd. And the screenshots might just look like those windows screensavers on drugs, but its actually kind of addicting. The puzzle keeps you hooked, and the light and music keep you entertained. It really is an engrossing experience.

Auditorium will be available on Xbox LIVE Arcade, Playstation Network, and PSP Go early next year. But you can get a taste of the game here.
