Need for Speed NITRO goes Gold

Any  Wii swinging, DS pointing, racing fans out there? If you are one, then this is some sweet news for you. EA anounced today that  Need for Speed NITRO has gone gold and will be hitting the shelves early: November 3rd in North America and November 6th in Europe.

For those of you not familiar with NFS NITRO, it’s a Wii and DS exclusive release from the NFS series. This game promises to deliver the thrill of high-speed racing to all types of gamers with exciting gameplay, accessible controls, and competitive multiplayer events at 200 mph. It also has a thrilling soundtrack from artists such as k-os, Placebo and Crystal Method.

Senior Producer Joe Booth says “Our vision was to create somethign unique on the Nintendo platforms. Need for Speed NITRO combines the franchise’s trademark attitude, sense of speed and addictive gameplay with the approachability and pick up and play of Nintendo.”

This is excitig news for Wii/DS owners who are racing fans, and might be a great starting place for those looking to become racing fnas!
